The purpose of this rapid survey is to gather top-line insights on the impact of the Covid-19 total lockdown in Lebanon, prohibiting all but essential movement, on multi-purpose cash (MPC) recipients. This includes households’ ability to access and spend their assistance, prepare for the lockdown and meet their basic needs.

The sample includes 160 Syrian refugee households receiving MPC from the World Food Programe (WFP) living in the Bekaa, North, Beirut and Mount Lebanon (BML) governorates. Data collection was completed via phone survey over five days between 20-26 January 2021.

Established in 2017 to support the effectiveness and accountability of social assistance for refugees and host communities in Lebanon.
